Using Windows Check Wireless Capacity

Instead of brass with your computer hardware to verify what you have installed, you can also easily check the Windows Device-Manager. To use it, right-click Computer / Choose Manage / and click then click Device Manager.

After you click Device Manager, a list of everything you installappears on the right half of the screen. Take a look under Network adapters and ignore anything that says, 10/100 Ethernet, or because they are simply normal network connections - not wireless ones. If there is something else there, it could be a wireless device.

If you think you have a mobile device, but it has a yellow warning sign alongside its name in the Device Manager, you should take a look to see it, what's wrong by double clicking on it. Windows should then tell you whyDevice is not working right now, and maybe even before that you go through their program guide. Do this before you do anything else.

If it is found that a driver problem, you should insert the driver disc that came with your computer. If you can not find the driver CD that came with your computer - do not worry, because you should be able to find and then load the appropriate driver online.
